Spanish time! Students will take Spanish lessons for the next three days. In the mornings, students will take part in an adventure or cultural activity, followed by Spanish language lessons in the afternoons.
Morning activities can be mountain biking, visiting a coffee farm, learning how to make local cheese, and hiking in Irazu Volcano National Park. The day’s activity will depend on availability and the weather, but will immerse students deeper into Costa Rican life.
For Spanish lessons, students will be broken up into small groups where students will be able to learn new vocabulary and grammar and improve their speaking skills.

Due to its pristine waters, the thrilling class III and IV rapids, and the flora and fauna of the surrounding rainforest, the river is a must visit for any group exploring Costa Rica. Take breaks from paddling and jump into the river to cool off from the jungle heat. Spend the night at a remote lodge and finish your rafting experience the following day.
