Welcome to Spain! Upon arrival at the airport, meet your tour director and transfer to central Madrid. Enjoy lunch in a café or restaurant before going for an introductory panoramic sightseeing tour of Madrid. You’ll see famous landmarks such as Plaza de la Villa, Plaza de España, and the impressive Puerta del Sol on Plaza Mayor. The tour ends with a visit to the world-renowned Prado Museum, where you can explore masterpieces from the Spanish, Italian, and Flemish schools, including works by Velázquez and Goya. Afterward, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the vibrant capital of Spain. Start with a visit to the splendid Royal Palace, the largest functioning royal palace in Europe. Enjoy some free time to explore San Miguel Market, a monument to Spanish cuisine, followed by lunch (payable locally). In the afternoon, head along Alcalá Street to the Puerta de Alcalá, which marks the beginning of El Retiro Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a leisurely stroll through the park, visiting the Crystal Palace and the Retiro Grande Pond. Return to your hotel by coach.

After breakfast, meet your tour guide and depart by coach for an excursion to Toledo, an impressive medieval city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Explore the old city walls, the ancient synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, and the magnificent Cathedral of Toledo. After lunch, payable locally, visit the Army Museum in the Alcázar of Toledo, a stone fortification located in the highest part of the city. Continue to see the Plaza de Zocodover and the Church of Santo Tomé before returning to your hotel by coach.

After breakfast, transfer by coach to Madrid Puerta De Atocha station for the train to Barcelona. Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour of the city to see main landmarks, including the iconic Sagrada Familia Cathedral, Plaça d’Espanya, and the quirky architecture of Casa Batlló, designed by Antoni Gaudí. Enjoy lunch at the Boqueria Market (payable locally), followed by an exploration of the Gothic Quarter with its narrow streets and historic buildings. In the late afternoon, return to Madrid by train and transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart by coach for Salamanca. Upon arrival, visit Plaza Mayor, one of the largest and most beautiful squares in Spain. Continue your tour with a visit to the Casa de las Conchas, a Gothic building with a façade decorated with over 300 shells. End the day with a visit to the University of Salamanca, the oldest in Spain, known for its Plateresque façade and the famous frog carving that has become a symbol of the city.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart by coach for Porto, with a stop in Vila Real. Arrive in Vila Real and explore the city’s historic landmarks, including the Mateus Palace, known for its beautiful baroque architecture and gardens. After lunch (payable locally), continue your journey to Porto, where you’ll check in to your hotel for a three-night stay.

Today you will enjoy a walking tour of Porto’s Ribeira District, where you’ll marvel at the Douro River and the Dom Luís I Bridge. Visit the Livraria Lello, one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, and the Clérigos Tower. After lunch, (payable locally), embark on a Douro River cruise for a unique view of the city, and end the day with a port wine tasting at one of the famous Vila Nova de Gaia cellars.
Overnight: Porto
After breakfast, depart for one of the nearby beaches for a relaxing day by the sea, where you can also try your hand at surfing. Local surf instructors will adapt to your individual abilities, whether you’re learning the basics or perfecting your skills. Return to your hotel by coach in the evening.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart by coach for Lisbon, with a stop in Fátima. On arrival in Fátima, visit the Fátima Sanctuary, one of the most important religious sites in the world, known for the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children in 1917. After lunch (payable locally), continue your journey to Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, and check in to your hotel for a three-night stay.

Start the day in the Belém district, where you’ll see the famous Belém Tower, visit the Jerónimos Monastery, and savor the iconic “pastéis de Belém.” After lunch (payable locally), explore the historic Baixa district and ascend to the São Jorge Castle for panoramic views. In the evening, discover the bustling Bairro Alto district and experience a vibrant “Tapas Night” at a local tavern, enjoying bite-sized Portuguese delights.

After breakfast, depart by coach for an excursion to enchanting Sintra. Meet your local tour guide for a walking tour of the city, including entrance to the Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle. After lunch (payable locally), return to Lisbon for some free time before concluding the day with a traditional Fado performance in the Alfama district, dining amidst the soulful melodies.
