Arrive in Hanoi and be greeted by your GEC tour director at Noi Bai Airport. Transfer to your hotel, located in the heart of the bustling city. After check-in, take the evening to relax or explore the nearby streets and sample some local cuisine.

After breakfast, start your exploration of Hanoi with a full day of sightseeing. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter, and the ancient Temple of Literature. After lunch, take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter’s narrow streets. In the evening, enjoy a traditional water puppet show, a uniquely Vietnamese art form.

Take a day trip to Ninh Binh, often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land.” Enjoy a boat ride through the serene Tam Coc caves, where limestone karsts rise dramatically from the rice paddies. Visit ancient temples and explore the lush countryside before returning to Hanoi in the evening.

Leave Hanoi in the morning and journey to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Board a traditional cruise and sail among the limestone islands. Enjoy kayaking or swimming, visit a pearl farm, and relax as you take in the stunning scenery. In the evening, savor a seafood dinner on board as the sun sets over the bay.

Begin your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, followed by breakfast. Explore Sung Sot Cave, one of the largest and most beautiful caves in the bay. After brunch, disembark and return to Hanoi. In the evening, fly to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital.

Spend the day exploring Hue, starting with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, visit the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda and the Tombs of the Emperors. In the afternoon, take a scenic boat ride along the Perfume River.

Depart Hue and travel along the scenic Hai Van Pass to Hoi An, a charming UNESCO-listed ancient town. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An’s historic old town, where you will see the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge and ancient merchant houses.

Begin your day with a cooking class at a local cooking school, where you’ll learn how to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes. After lunch, take a half-day tour of Hoi An’s countryside, visiting local farms and learning about traditional agricultural practices.

Explore the town of Hoi An at your own pace, visiting local markets, ancient temples, and craft workshops. Spend time shopping for silk and other local handicrafts, or simply relax by the river.

After breakfast, transfer to Da Nang for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War (or the American War, as it is called in Vietnam). Explore the tunnels and learn about their historical significance.

Discover the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City with a full day of sightseeing. Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the War Remnants Museum, and the former Presidential Palace. Stroll through Ben Thanh Market in the afternoon to shop for souvenirs and experience local life.

Enjoy breakfast and some free time before transferring to the airport for your departure flight, concluding your memorable adventure through Vietnam.
