Itinerary

Arrive in Madrid, where you will be welcomed by your GEC tour director at the airport. After a quick lunch in a café, embark on an introductory panoramic sightseeing tour of Madrid, exploring landmarks like Plaza de la Villa, Plaza de España, and Puerta del Sol on Plaza Mayor. The day ends with a visit to the renowned Prado Museum, where you can admire masterpieces by Velázquez and Goya. After the tour, transfer to your hotel for check-in and dinner.

Explore the royal splendor of Madrid with a visit to the Royal Palace, the largest functioning royal palace in Europe. Afterward, spend free time at San Miguel Market, a hotspot for food lovers, where you can grab lunch. In the afternoon, stroll along Alcalá Street to Puerta de Alcalá and relax at the UNESCO-listed Retiro Park. Return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Travel to the medieval city of Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the ancient city walls, the 12th-century Santa María la Blanca synagogue, and the magnificent Toledo Cathedral.
