Itinerary

Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival at the airport, the group will be greeted by their GEC guide and embark on a tour of Baroque Rome, featuring the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Enjoy a local ice cream tasting before heading to the hotel for dinner and a good night’s rest.
Overnight: Rome

After breakfast at your hotel, spend the day exploring and learning about the Vatican. Visit the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, and Saint Paul Outside-the-Walls. Walk along the ancient Appia Antica and view the Catacombs, Circo Massenzio, and Cecilia Metella. This will be a full day adventure with a break midday to find some delicious Roman food for lunch (paid locally). At the end of the day, enjoy dinner and then return to your hotel.
Overnight: Rome

Discover Imperial Rome with a guided tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. After lunch, participate in a Gladiator school activity, learning about Roman legionnaires and gladiators through hands-on training. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Rome

Travel to Ostia Antica for a half-day guided tour of the archaeological site. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring Rome at your leisure or partake in optional activities. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Say goodbye to Rom as you depart early for Tuscany, enjoying lunch and an olive oil tasting at a local agriturismo along the way. Continue with a half-day guided tour of Siena before heading to Florence for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Florence

Explore Florence with a half-day walking tour, including the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo’s David. Enjoy free time for lunch and explore additional sites such as the Scuola del Cuoio, depending on the group’s preference. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Overnight: Florence

After breakfast head to the Uffizi Gallery for a guided tour, followed by free time for lunch. In the afternoon, participate in a cooking class, learning to make pizza, focaccia, and ice cream. Enjoy a final group dinner and look back on your time in Italy.
