Welcome to India! Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and meet your tour director who will accompany you throughout the program. After settling in at your hotel, relax and join the group for an orientation session, where you’ll discuss the week ahead, set expectations, and receive an introduction to the rich culture of India.

Begin your day with a Hindi language lesson over breakfast, learning basic greetings and phrases. Embark on a cultural scavenger hunt through the bustling streets of Delhi, exploring Hindu gods and goddesses and testing your new language skills. After a delicious Punjabi lunch, visit the Gandhi Museum, Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, and the iconic India Gate. End the evening with a group reflection session.

After another Hindi lesson over breakfast, travel to Agra via private bus. Spend the afternoon discovering the intricate marble work of the Taj Mahal and learning about the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan at Agra Fort. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Mughal dinner and reflect on your experiences so far.

Experience the magic of the Taj Mahal at sunrise, watching as the colors shift with the changing light. Explore the architectural marvel with a local guide before driving to Jaipur, the Pink City. In the evening, participate in a cooking demonstration to learn how to prepare traditional Rajasthani dishes, followed by dinner.

Start your day with a visit to the famous Amber Fort, exploring its secret caves and majestic walls. Visit a lac workshop to see how artisans create beautiful lac bangles, and try your hand at customizing one yourself. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Rajasthani Ghoomar dance performance and get a customized mehandi (henna) design.

Fly to Cochin, Kerala, and welcome the tropical paradise of South India. After settling into your hotel in historic Fort Cochin, relax with a sunset cruise on the Arabian Sea, enjoying local seafood delicacies and reflecting on the cultural differences between North and South India.

Explore Fort Cochin’s rich history, visiting the 15th-century Chinese fishing nets, fresh fish markets, and the centuries-old Jewish Synagogue. Journey to the hill station of Munnar, located in the Western Ghats, known for its beautiful tea plantations. Take a plantation tour to learn about the history and production of tea, sampling a variety of locally grown teas.

Spend the day exploring the natural beauty of Munnar. Visit nearby tribal colonies to learn about their culture and lifestyle. In the afternoon, enjoy local mountain cuisine prepared with fresh spices and end the day with a thrilling Kalaripayattu martial arts performance followed by a bonfire dinner.

Travel to Vembanad Lake and board a traditional Ketuvallam houseboat for a relaxing stay on the water. Enjoy fishing, swimming, and a friendly canoe race among your group while savoring delicious meals prepared by local chefs.
